The Sustainable Energy Academy promotes education and action to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings and communities.
We network with people and organisations at local level to achieve national impact.

SEA, previously ecsc, is a UK registered charity, founded in 1982, to advance the knowledge and application of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Our current campaign Old Home Superhome promotes exemplar energy efficient existing homes across the country, helping to make them accessible so that other homeowners can learn and be inspired to transform their own houses.
SEA was founded by people who care about the future. Even before the issue of harmful climate change became widely known, the creators of SEA believed that our society's dependence on fossil fuels must be reduced
A voluntary board of trustees is responsible for the overall management and direction of the charity. A senior management group meets regularly and reports to the trustees through the Director.
