Draught stripping

draughtproofingYou can fit draught excluders to Windows and doors. Even keyholes and letter boxes can let in cold air.  You can seal under skirting boards where there are gaps (See also floor insulation).

Think about draughts under internal doors letting heat escape from your warmest rooms. Chimneys can be blocked using a chimney balloon (around £25).
